Those are all the results! If you read all that, thank you for being interested in my nerdy survey :D After I let this cycle around a bit, I’m thinking of maybe publishing little individual reports of class/aspect frequency based on each sign branch! So we’ll see how that goes. The Extended Zodiac is broken down into 12 color categories called Sign Classes, and each of those contain 24 unique signs. It would be really interesting to see if feeling more attached to your old aspect and moon correlated with being a veteran homestuck reader! Sadly, I didn’t ask that on the survey. Interestingly enough, I was totally wrong! The majority of people (35%) felt like their new results fit them better! 23% of people were still undecided as to which labels they identified with more, and only 14% felt like their old labels fit better. It was also partially because that’s how I felt lmao (even though I have begrudgingly come to like my new aspect more :0). This was partially because fans have been taking tests and picking out their own god tiers for years, and it would make sense to be more attached to the labels you’d identified with for a long time. I envy you 125 people whose results matched up with your old god tier and moon.īefore sending this survey out, I hypothesized that the majority of people would feel displeased with their new results and prefer their old, self-identified aspect and moon. The second most common response was both a different aspect and a different moon (22%), and the third most common was no change (17%). Around 7% of people found the reverse (same aspect, new moon). The majority of people (36%) ended up with the same moon as they identified with before the test, but a different aspect. Now here’s the interesting part (at least I think so). Before the test, Derse was also the more common choice, just by a more dramatic margin. The most common moon result in the new test was Derse, by a relatively small margin. It’s just a silly internet test and doesn’t matter that much, but I’d still be happier to see a more even spread throughout the aspects. Check out the god tier survey results for class distribution!) I’m theorizing that the fact that Light has such a high percentage in the results of the new test is most likely due to a test-making error on behalf of the extended zodiac team, because it’s frankly ridiculously disproportionate to the other aspects. (I also asked about classes on this survey, but the data was basically the same as the god tier survey and not relevant to the extended zodiac test, so I left the graph out. I also found Heart and Space to be taking the obvious lead in my God Tier survey from a couple months ago, though the percentages of the less common aspects were different. Before the new test, the most common self-identified aspects were Heart and Space, with the least common being Blood and Hope. The most common aspect given in the new test was Light, kind of by a landslide. So don’t worry about that affecting the data!) After closing responses, I went back added up the Pisces people who had chosen Aquarius as a placeholder or skipped the question and balanced the numbers back out. (NOTE: I accidentally forgot to include Pisces as an option when I first published the survey because I’m very bad at counting. Obviously, my sample is not representative of the entire world It’s only representative of tumblr users who took the extended zodiac test. Interestingly enough, according to these three sources, the most common birth month is September, which falls primarily under the sign of Virgo – the third least common sign branch reported in my humble survey. The most common sign branches overall were Gemini and Cancer, with the rarest being Aries and Pisces. You can find a full post of the frequencies HERE, so go check out your sign! If anyone would like to look at that list and tell me which signs are missing, that would be lovely. The total number of different signs reported was 200 – which, I should note, is not actually all of them. The four most common signs were: Arpia, Sagipio, Cansci, and Aquapio. And remember to fullsize the graphs to see them clearly!īefore I get into the results: Please remember that having a more or less common sign does not make you cooler or less cool! We are all unique in our own ways, so don’t feel bad if you fall into majority responses here <3 With that in mind, lets break down these graaaaaaaaphs. FINALLY, here are the results of the extended zodiac survey that I put out! There were 750 total responses!!!! Check under the cut for some more detailed information.
